What a joy to read this book which was really pleasant to discover, the world tour of the happiest people, this is a super open minding exploration.

Meik Wiking is exploring the way this is possible to measure the happiness, is it:

- being together?

- money?

- the health?

- freedom?

- self confidence?

- goodness?

I let you discover his analysis reading this book :)

📚 The Four Agreements - Don Miguel Ruiz

I had heard so much about this book and I was lucky, I got it offered for Christmas 2019! What a joy to finally be able to read it (and to highlight everything that inspires me, I love to highlight the books I read :)).

A book full of wisdom and serenity on how we see others, life and ourselves.

Here are some key phrases from the book:

“Just as the government has a book of laws that controls the dream of society, our belief system is the book of laws that governs our personal dream.”

“95% of the beliefs that we have engraved in our memory are only lies, and we suffer from believing these lies”

"We need to be accepted and loved by others, but we are unable to accept and love ourselves"

Here are the Toltec Agreements:

1. Be impeccable with your word

2. Don’t take anything personally

3. Don't make assumptions

4. Always do your best

I highly recommend it, and it is quick to read!

📚 Le Petit Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

The Little Prince, a classic ! I had read it as a child and received it as a gift for my last birthday. What a beautiful re-discovery with adult eyes :)

- The Little Prince understands that by taming, he manages to bring out of the mass a “individual” who becomes, for him, unique in the world !

- Open-mindedness, questioning, curiosity helps develop empathy and broaden perspective

- Imagination, impermanence, absurdity and humanism are very present concepts in the book

“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they are felt with the heart.”

🎥 What keeps us happy and healthy as we go through life? - Robert Waldinger

What keeps us happy and healthy as we go through life? If you think it's fame and money, you're not alone - but, according to psychiatrist Robert Waldinger, you're mistaken. As the director of a 75-year-old study on adult development, Waldinger has unprecedented access to data on true happiness and satisfaction.

This TED Talk is one of my favorite, I am amazed by the outcome of this study and strongly believe in the results.
